Any stack up to the Original for you? I used to enjoy Mr. Pibb and (pre-doctorate) The Skipper in the '70s and '80s, and haven't had much that wasn't actually DP aside from Diet Dr. Bob on rare occasion, when Giant supermarkets were more at hand than recently.
I did seem to be one of the few to like the better flavors of Pepsi Jazz back when. Somewhat similar, if not an actual imitation like PepsiCo's later Dr. Slice.

I've tried only Dr Thunder. It's okay, but it's not the real thing.
I thought there was no period in Dr.
