Folks can argue till the cows come home and then some about how it all came about. The damn thing is freaking stupid and needs to be stopped.

As you probably know, I'm on your side. I don't mind DST, and I don't mind CST. I just want one time all the time. So let's make a choice.

I have to say that living in Indiana gives me a different perspective. I just am glad to do what the rest of the country is doing. For so long, most of Indiana was on EST year-round (with northwest Indiana being on CST/DST, with Chicago. and a couple of counties near Cincinnati being on EST/EDT with Cincinnati). Now, that was truly stupid.
