I'm sure there's an SF novel--if not, someone should write one--about the effects of this instant viral fame and its equally-rapid descent back to obscurity.
"Made famous" WAY overstates it, obviously, since I've never heard of a bunch of these. I remember Ken Bone's 15 minutes (maybe it was 10), and Boomer Phelps. But most of them? Nah, I'm way too old and do not give a sh!t.
