Deneen? Seriously? I was around in the 1960s and do not ever remember a single person named Deneen. I don't ever remember seeing or hearing of anyone named Deneen.
As for the Linda thing, I guess I'll have to take his word for it.
I'd like to understand the meteoric rise in popularity of the girl's name Ava. Until about a decade ago, the only Ava I'd ever heard of was Ava Gardner. What suddenly caused that name to move into the top ten?
Rick--I don't know if you have grandkids, but do a quick poll of your friends who do and I guarantee you'll find at least one with a granddaughter (less than ten years old) named Ava. I think it's a pretty name; I'm just curious as to how it suddenly became so popular.

Ava was popular? Really? And I agree with Jeff on Deneen, I've never heard of anyone named that, and I'm not even sure how it should be pronounced.
