Sheri S. Tepper, R. I. P.

Locus Online News: Author Sheri S. Tepper, 87, died October 22, 2016. Tepper was a prolific author of SF, best known for her feminist and ecological themes, with major titles including The Gate to Women’s Country (1988) and Grass (1989).

Read--and liked--a fair amount of her work. Near as I can recall, she didn't really break through until sometime in the 1980s, so she would have been in her 50s. Remarkable body of work.

I read a couple of her mysteries, which she wrote under a couple of pseudonyms, A. J. Orde and B. J. Oliphant.

Read Grass a long time ago. Liked it a lot but never read anything else by her.
