Hell on Wheels is darn good, and The Rifleman, Gunsmoke, and Bonanza were my faves as a kid. Kung Fu? Ugg. I'd add Wyatt Earp, Cheyenne, hell even Wild Wild West before Kung Fu. Can't argue with the rest of the list, mostly. Didn't care for Deadwood, and never saw Lonesome Dove.
Never thought of Kung Fu as a western, though I guess it can be so classified, and never heard of Hell on Wheels until this article. No, I don't agree.I would have said Lonesome Dove was a made-for-TV movie, not a western TV series, so I don't think it counts.
I would have put in WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE and CHEYENNE, WYAT EARP, DEATH VALLEY DAYS, and, yes, THE LONE RANGER.

I have fond memories of ALIAS SMITH & JONES.
Also, THE HIGH CHAPARRAL and CIMARRON STRIP.
