I showed this to Jackie, who watched it from the beginning. She is having a galloping nostalgia attack, along with a feeling of being old.
I think I watched one episode, don't recall the circumstances, and wasn't impressed. I wasn't the demographic for it, for certain.
Jackie did try and watch one episode when they brought it back a while ago but found it totally unwatchable now.
Better him than me.
THE EDGE OF NIGHT and DARK SHADOWS were good and interesting for soaps, but still soaps...I certainly paid more attention to them as a kid than I did their competition...and networks being what they are, they were slotted against each other briefly. A more sensible Soaps men will watch, too (and the occasional 6yo) hour was soon worked out between their nets.
