I remember reading about PRC in Don Miller's classic B MOVIES book, and seeing a handful of them back in the 1980s, like NABONGA and THE DEVIL BATand the classic HITLER'S MADMAN, with John Carradine as Reinhard Heydrich. They also released Edgar G. Ulmer's BLUEBEARD, also starring Carradine, and his classic DETOUR.
Why don’t they make them like that anymore? With the dozens of cable channels, you would think one would be churning out low-budget movies. I don’t mean Lifetime Movies. I mean, really cheap pictures. Hey, I’d tune in. But then, maybe that channel does exist and is called YouTube.

Sadly, they don't make them like that anymore.
I miss the old days.

And SyFy.
And Hallmark.
Maybe cheap movies just aren't what they used to be. Without Lugosi, Zucco and Carradine it just ain't the same.....
There are still folks who managed to either pick the better no-budget projects or to buoy them...Deborah Foreman in the '80s is an example.
Aubrey Plaza is doing similar good work, though not exclusively, today.
