NBC News: Muhammad Ali, the silver-tongued boxer and civil rights champion who famously proclaimed himself "The Greatest" and then spent a lifetime living up to the billing, is dead.
A remarkable man of great integrity who rose to prominence in an ugly, violent business. My favorite Ali story is the one wherein he was flying somewhere and resisted the flight attendant's request to put on his seat belt, saying "Superman don't need no seat belt." She retorted, "Superman don't need no airplane, either." He put on the belt.

In my opinion, Ali was the greatest.
I don't think we'll ever see his equal.
2016 claims another great one.
