Haven't seen The Forbidden Planet since the late '60s at a SF film fest at the University of Wisconsin...may be time to take another look.
I saw it on its first theatrical run in the old days and have seen it a few times since. It's a little odd how the world and I have changed since the first time. Leslie Nielsen as a leading man made perfect sense in the '50s.
