High school students are even more addicted to their phones. I've actually seen them texting with the phone in their pockets! I have to admire their ability to text by muscle memory without looking at the keyboard.
I admire the texting abilities of kids these days. I can barely text holding the phone steady in both hands and with both eyes on the keyboard.
Exactly! That's the reason why I often type "if" when I mean "of" or "do" instead of "so". Alas, my finest don't move as fast as my teeming brain!
Fingers/perfect example!
I never text. And keep off my lawn!
This estimate is low. Some students spend 100% of their time on their smartphones. It's an addiction.
I'll bet you don't let 'em get away with it in your classes, George.
