I guess I'm going to have to purchase the book and read it so I can gain a clear understanding of the books cover.

A lot of the Collier Books covers were head-scratches. But they were terrific collections!

One of Anderson's weaker efforts, for sure. The cover doesn't help.

Anderson was a nice and dear man, whom I respectfully say bored the heck out of us at SHolmes society meetings many years back in San Francisco. Never read his stuff, not into that genre, but I know he was supposed to have done some good work. Fun, funny post anyway, Bill.

Met him only once at an SF convention. Wish I'd talked to him about Holmes, but I didn't think of that.
