Whoever wrote this was young, very young. I read a fair amount of YA and not only haven't I read any of these, I haven't heard of them either. And judging from the "reviews" there is not one I'd be tempted to read.

I've heard of a couple--ADDISON STONE and DANGEROUS GIRLS (although I'm not sure how much of a recommendation it is to label a book "the YA GONE GIRL"), but I just don't read YA as much as I did when I worked in a junior high school library and students (after they finished the TWILIGHT saga or the HARRY POTTER books) wanted reading recommendations. I recently read Susan Beth Pfeffer's LIFE AS WE KNEW IT, a dystopian novel about what happens when the moon gets knocked out of its orbit. Well-written and not Pollyanna-ish (a problem with a lot of YA), but it was the first in a series and I felt no urge to continue reading the subsequent books especially when I discovered (SPOILER) that some main characters in the book are killed off in the sequels.

Deb, I just read that too! I liked it and will continue with the series, especially as book two is set in New York.
