What a great song. I never heard it until I got their "Come Dancing With The Kinks" compilation, which has a lot of other great songs on it, too.
"Come Dancing" is my favorite, but I like this one and "Lola" a lot, too.
Ray Davies wrote a very entertaining (and, I suspect, very unreliable) autobiography, X-RAY./"Victoria" and "Waterloo Sunset" are my favorites.

Have long loved The Kinks. Waterloo Sunset is one of my all time favorite songs.
It's "See My Friends" for me, though it's a very tough call. Their body of work is fantastic.
