These ads were everywhere when I was a kid.I always thought of Grit as something useful in rural America.I lived in El Paso which had a population of 300,000 at that time.
It's still around, morphed into a somewhat different kind of thing, but still aimed at rural America.
I never saw a copy in my life, although the ads were always around.
