Why not adapt one of the less well-known Christies? THIRTEEN AT DINNER would provide plenty of roles and lots of glamour. I just don't see the point in remaking MOTOE which was already done so beautifully in the 1970s. Do something different!
The television POIROT series also did this, and relatively recently.
Hollywood originality strikes again! I'm hoping for some imaginative casting, like Fabian in the 1965 version of TEN LITTLE INDIANS, or Frank Stallone (in the starring role!) in the 1989 version.
No matter to me - bring it on to keep these classics alive. Will be tough to beat that great version with Albert Finney, but Branaugh might be the man to do it.
