After the movie with its copious nudity was released, I recall one wag commented, "Instead of the Italian Stallion, a better name for Stallone would be the Italian Pony!"
I'd suggest that this one was far less obscure, after ROCKY became a hit, than, say, THE LORDS OF FLATBUSH (even if ABC was overjoyed to have a film with Winkler and Stallone in a street gang to rerun at the time).

(Less obscure because of the endless jokes and the opportunistic rerelease.)
