Robert Silverberg was in his hay-day when he wrote this. Well worth a reread!
I need to reread more Silverberg. One of my favorites. Last year I read Dying Inside, A Time of Changes and Up the Line. All hold up very well.
He was really on a roll about that time. Those are all very good.
