Man, that brings back a ton of memories. My parents had an album of "million sellers" - wish I could remember the name - and this was on it along with things like "Dance, Ballerina, Dance " and "The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane " and "Anytime " by Eddie Fisher.
Great songs. The Ames Brothers ("Naughty Lady of Shady Lane") were another family harmony group. Love their sound. I need to put one of their songs on here, maybe that one.

Loved this song! Parents used to play it when I was a kid.
Oh so maudlin...so sad. Love it. Been so very long since I heard it. Thanks Bill for the memories.
Perhaps I can return the memories with this sad, sad tune by Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton.

Thanks, Frank, that's a great one.
Jim Ed Brown, a true original.
One of the greats.
