Flavorwire: Albert Maysles, the filmmaker who co-directed such groundbreaking documentaries as Grey Gardens,Salesman, and Gimme Shelter along with his brother David, has died. The Criterion Collection, which made the announcement on Facebook, writes, “Our dear friend Albert Maysles passed away last night at the age of 88. Some remarkable work. Frederic Wiseman might've done a little more and better, but it was close.
Frederick Wiseman, that is. One disadvantage to breaking one's wrist is not quite striking the keys as hard as one means to while typing. Not recommended.
Not to mention that there are too many ways to spell Frederick. Or Fredric. Or Frederic.
I watched Gimme Shelter for the first time a few weeks ago.
I don't understand how anyone could argue that the Stones and Jagger were trying to incite the crowd.
Frederik Pohl waves from the beyond.
Atop the irresponsibility of hiring the Hell's Angels as security...a joint assininity of the Dead and the Stones, both of whom should've known the somewhat different level of thuggish default between the US an UK gangs.
I seem to have just broken in frustration my keyboard which was fighting me. Not recommended.
Better that you break the keyboard than the reverse.
Indeed, though it was a pretty good keyboard. This one is a slightly too small Apple board.
