All the old workingmen on my all Irish block smoked this stuff. It actually smelled pretty good. By the time I started smoking a pipe in my forties (trying to give up Luckies) I could afford the better kind of pipe tobacco--fifteen cents a tin. Now that's upward mobility.

My grandfather smoked this brand. I used to have a lot of the little tins that it came in. He also rolled his own Bull Durham cigarettes.
