Great post. I still remember getting the letter from you where you told me the book had sold, and I recall buying a copy of it at a newsstand in Fort Worth when it came out. Doesn't seem that long ago in some ways, a hundred years in others.
And I remember getting Texas Wind at about the same time. Only yesterday.
