It certainly does for me!/Can't stop the double-spacing.
I can't stop either. It's just automatic. One other thing that may reveal my age: I learned to type on a manual typewriter. (Though I had a TRS-80 at home.)
I double space and I'm...28. That's it. I'm 28!
