I can't believe they didn't include the time Joan Crawford subbed for her daughter on (I think) The Secret Storm. Christina Crawford, who was in her twenties at the time, was playing a young woman trying to decide between two men. When Christina got sick, Joan Crawford "graciously" stepped into the role--playing a woman half her age alongside young actors who were playing Christina's beaux. It goes without saying it was a debacle; and in Mommie Dearest, Christina claims this is why not long after her character was written out of the soap.

Darn. I wish they had the video of the Yogi Berra cameo as a brain surgeon.

I'm sure it's a performance almost as great as Denise Richards' performance as a nuclear physicist.
That was the one that came to my mind too.

And Yogi was denied an Emmy nomination just as Denise was denied an Oscar nom.

I suspect that Joan thought she looked 24 at the time.
