He build the web across my sidewalk, so I took his picture.
I thought that was a photo of cracked plate glass with some gunk stuck in the center.
Well, it could be, but instead it's an example of Gasteracantha elipsoides, or crablike spiny orb weaver.
NOW I'm freaked out.
Nice! Time to freak my daughter-in-law out. =)
