A giant. No one lives forever, but I would have nominated him for that honor if it'd been possible. I love his work and will take this as a time to go back and re-read some of it.
I was a big fan. My first conmic fanzine featured him in a section called "On Technique," written by Bob Juanillo.
Joe Kubert never drew a bad story. He may have had to illustrate some bad scripts, but by the time he was done, it was always a good story.
