I bought my first car in 1957. I had a choice between a 1950 Studebaker and and a 1948 Ford coupe. I chose the Ford for its looks. I loved the coupe, but often wonder about that Studebaker (lol).
I had an uncle who absolutely loved Studebakers. He owned one or more right up to the time that you couldn't get them - or parts for them at an affordable price - anymore. Of all the defunct North American car companies, the one that I wish had lasted was Studebaker. In design terms they were years ahead of their time.
