Naturally I Don't Own Any of Them

The unlikely DVDs that have become surprisingly valuable

As usual with such things, you have to find someone willing to pay that.

I saw a bit of INSERTS on cable some time back, and could understand its relatively hostile reception at the time.

I have three of the films (including INSERTS) but all three are on VHS, unfortunately.

Do I still have VTRs? Yup.
Quite a few of my VHS films are not available on DVD...

One I've always wondered about was DAY OF ANGER, a spaghetti western starring Lee Van Cleef. I bought a used copy off Amazon a few years ago for $25.00 and a year later they had a copy listed for $600.00 plus. All they have now is unavailable.

I don't see how it could be worth that much, but it was there.

When you think of the movies that do get DVD re-releases, it's hard to understand how TRULY MADLY DEEPLY or DEAD AGAIN got overlooked.

Like Rick, I still have a large number of VHS cassettes, including many episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 which I taped when they aired on TV and many of which have yet to be released on DVD. (Another oversight!)
