I had a jerk text on his phone several times during the screening of the last Harry Potter film I attended. It was very annoying. I felt like grabbing his phone, throwing it on the ground and stomping on it.
Yet another reason not to go to a movie theater! It amazes me that people (and I don't mean kids!) spend a significant amount of money on tickets and food/drink and then play with their electronic devices or talk to each other, or do anything except watch the movie! And the e-device use is always for an "emergency". Right!
