Lots of my favorites missing, too. I voted in the original balloting, and some of the ones I voted for are there. My favorite Simak's missing, but I did vote for Way Station this time.
You know, they had Zelazny's "Lord of Light" on there so I can forgive a lot. I'd much rather see a Robert Charles Wilson included instead of all the Neal Stephenson stuff, but again:
"His followers called him Mahasmatman and said he was a god. He preferred to drop the Maha- and the -atman, however, and called himself Sam. He never claimed to be a god. But then, he never claimed not to be...."

Me too, but it saddens / maddens me to have nothing from Olaf Stapledon, R. A. Lafferty or Clifford Simak in the "top" 100 to choose from!!!
Simak is in there for "Way Station."

Rick Ollerman: Thanks! My aged eyes must have glazed over toward the end of the list. I feel 1/3 better about the list now 8-)
