Interesting! I feel bad I haven't read a single John Carter of Mars novel. Any idea if they'll reissue them before the movie comes out? How could they not?
Didn't know 3, 4 or 8. The little 2-room Pecos Library had all the John Carter books in the 1950s (go figure) when I was a kid, thus beginning my continuing SF readership. Looking back, I'd love to know how those particular books got there.

I suspect they'll be everywhere when the movie hits.
