Haven't We All Done this from Time to Time?
Mother Nature Network: "J.K. Rowling, author of the 'Harry Potter' series, has been given planning permission to knock down a $1.6 million home outside of Edinburgh, Scotland, for the sole purpose of expanding her personal garden."

Good for her, If I had a house I liked and the one next door could be replaced to expand my garden, I'd do it too. She didn't have much for a long time, and the phenomenal popularity of her books lets her do it. I say more power to her.
