Los Angeles Times: "A reboot titled 'Zorro Reborn' is being developed at Fox that will remove the character from his historical California or Mexico setting.

I don't think this is too weird. After all, Bob Kane took the Zorro character, his black horse, and the Zorro bat cave (oops, the Zorro cave) and made it all into Batman. And Zorro himself is a spin-off of Robin Hood. When I was ten years old, I was Zorro ... and this was in Ohio.
