Not one of my favorite actresses, but she had some great moments on screen and had quite a life. RIP
This is sad news. She was a good actress and a better advocate for AIDS research. Her personal life has been recounted in many books, the only one of which I have read was ELIZABETH TAYLOR by "John Allen" (Donald E. Westlake).
Elizabeth Taylor was one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her work for the AIDS Foundation was outstanding. My prayers are with her family. She will be missed.
Sad new, she is one of my favorite actress, I think also she is social work for AIDS research.
I would recommend FURIOUS LOVE, a recent book about the decade-long psychodrama that was Elizabeth Taylor's marriage to Richard Burton. Brad & Angelica got nothing on Liz & Dick.
My children (all teens) are basically only familiar with Liz Taylor from occasional clips on "The Soup" where she would howl, "Nooooooo" when asked if she ever planned to remarry, were stunned when they saw some movie clips from the 1950s and 1960s. You just don't find that sort of beauty anymore.
