I was never a joiner until I discovered fandom, Jeff. I wish I'd been in "Spin's" club, tho. But here's a Tim Considine trivium: He played the soldier George C. Scott slapped in PATTON.
Also played Mike, the son no one remembers on My Three Sons. Originally it was Mike, Robbie and Chip, then Considine left the show and Ernie (Barry Livingstone) was adopted by the Douglas family and Mike was never mentioned again.

Mike went off to room with Richie Cunningham's older brother, Chuck.
I remember, Brent. In my world the show died when Mike left.
