State police in Punxsutawney say several witnesses saw 55-year-old Donald Wolfe, of Brookville, near the animal Thursday afternoon."

Just because a guy is kissing an opossum people always assume he's drunk.
Maybe the oppossum wasn't dead. Maybe he was playing possum.
Punxsatawney -- maybe he mistook it for a groundhog? He was drunk, after all, and it must be SOP in Punxsatawney to look after the welfare of groundhogs.
