Half Guilty - Nick Kam: "How would the American legal system punish conjoined twins if one committed a murder while the other was completely innocent?"

It puts me in mind of a personal incident: Rather late in life, my husband and I were blessed with an unexpected pregnancy; when I had the first ultrasound, the technician announced, "It's twins!" After I recovered from the shock, the improbable first words out of my mouth were "They're not joined at the head, are they?" (They weren't.)

I'll be they turned out well.

"Completely innocent?" Wouldn't the other one be at least an accessory?

This was an EC comic story in the fifties that Phyllis Diller borrowed for an EQMM story in either the eighties or nineties. In the EC story the innocent twin killed himself so the evil half would die, too.
