As an ex-investigator, let me say I agree with you 100% Richard.
Jeez, and I thought it was bad when Patricia Cornwall wrote that dumb book about Walter Sickert.
Check out the drawing of Jack the Ripper at the bottom of the original post and compare it to the photo of Conan Doyle.
