The SyFy (are they serious with that spelling?) movie almost writes itself: A genetic experiment gone wrong, one or two scientists (played by photogenic B-list actors) desperately trying to convince the skeptical local law enforcement officer: "Ya gotta believe us, these raccoons, they'll tear a man's face off and eat him for dinner!" One or two scenes of such things happening to the local oddball character or the guy who lives alone at the lake. Finally the discovery that the raccoons are afraid of...fire, and a subsequent conflagation.
There! I feel as if I've seen the movie already--which I have, except it was called "Mansquito."

That's what she gets fro carrying live crawfish under a layer of damp stones in her purse.
I wonder if anyone asked: Who was that masked man?
(Sorry--somehow I posted on the New York story.)

Are Nicolas Cage and Stephen Baldwin starring in the movie?
Jeff
That would be great. But to have them in a remake of MANSQUITO would be even better.
Nicholas Cage is still too A-list. Stephen Baldwin and Lorenzo Lamas perhaps.
Sounds like the plot of the next Dan Rhodes book.
You got a point there, Cap'n.
