This must have been a reissue of the 1941 serial. Do you know what year this was? Tom Tyler was pretty good in one of my favorite serials. I also enjoyed him in The Phantom.
According to Wikipedia this would be the 1953 re-release, as the original 1941 title was "The Adventures of Captain Marvel." The date of the reissue is a bit ironic since 1953 was also the year that Fawcett shut down its comics division - which published Captain Marvel - in 1953, in response to declining sales and the suit from National Periodical over the similarities to Superman.

Don't know the year of this one. The Phantom is a sentimental favorite of mine.
The Phantom was a lot of fun -- even with the rubber crocodile.

I always thought the flying stunts were pretty impressive for a 1941 low budget production.
