Froggie
Okay, admit it, you've been wondering about Froggie. Well, he seems to be doing fine. He first poked his head out of the water spout on the hanging basket last June 18. I thought he'd be gone the next day, but I was wrong. He didn't show himself much at all this winter. For all I know, he was hibernating. He's been out and looking around quite a bit lately, though, and he appears to be pretty healthy. Maybe he'll stick around a while longer.

Froggy the Gremlin
Great video. I remember when Smilin' Ed McConnell was on the Buster Brown show on radio. And lets not get into the "plunk" vs. "pluck" controversy.
What the hell is this frog eating? Does it ever leave the container?
As far as we know, it's never left. We still haven't figured out how it got in there in the first place, much less what it's eating. I guess it could be eating some kind of insects.
That is what frogs favor. I imagine a hanging plant in front of a house draws enough flies...apparently it must. Froggy might even have burrowed into the dirt in the pot to hibernate. Have you ever seen it move, Bill?
I can see it breathing, but I've never seen it move in and out of the spout. Today, it's in hiding.
This calls for a story, Bill. Title? What else, Hermit The Frog!
The little guy has a lot of pluck to plunk himself down in your planter like that.
There's a remnant of a spideweb on the planter, in blowing up the picture...three guesses as to what might've happened to the spider.
Froggie probably has the answer.
I love stories about people, and yet this is just something relaxing in stories about creatures & other pets
