Not a great flick but not a total waste of time either. There was some controversy 4 or 5 years ago when the movie was released on DVD, supposedly the PG version that appeared in U.S. theaters, and the usual Guardians of Public Morals complained to MGM that the DVD contained a brief topless bathing scene with Adrienne Barbeau. Turned out that the studio had inadvertently used a version of the movie that was made for overseas theaters, not the PG theatrical version in the U.S. in which not so much of Adrienne was displayed. As I recall, MGM recalled the DVD and replaced it with the less revealing PG version. Similar thing happened recently with a Warner Home Video release of WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH that mistakently used a U.K. cut with some brief Victoria Vetri nudity rather than the G-rated U.S. theatrical version.

Adrienne was my favorite thing about the movie. The more we see of her, the better, I say.
I know I shouldn't have, but I liked the movie. Where oh where has Adrienne gone? She was also a tough heroine (sort of) in Escape From New York.
I have all of the Berni Wrightson Swamp Thing comics and most of the Alan Moore versions, plus a Swampy Action figure...
Good old Swampy :)
I last saw here in that Showtime series, CARNIVALE. And as a Swampy fan, you should tune in tomorrow.
