Ghostbuster called in after sewage workers stalked by 'zombie' in underground tunnels | the Daily Mail: "It sounds like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster.
But staff at a sewage works have called in a ghostbuster because they are being stalked by a zombie-like figure who roams the underground tunnels.
Workers at Southern Water's treatment plant in Eastbourne, East Sussex, said they have been scared to enter tunnels after being followed about by a 'humanoid figure' as they went about their jobs."

C.H.U.D. I remember this movie. Not A high water mark in horror films.
It's a biker. I actually know the guy. He's cool. He only eats people he finds that are already dead. He says killing 'em first wouldn't be right. I reminded him that zombies dont actually kill their prey first, the fellow sort of dies at some point along the process of being eaten. He said that was the sort of legalistic crap that sent him underground in the first place. that was the end of that particular conversation. I didnt want to know exactly what he was talking about. It might end the friendship. or strengthen it. and i didnt want THAT. for reasons i wont go into right now
chud might not have been a great movie but it was sure the best TITLE of a movie.
Maybe you should write a story about him.
I don't think they have anything to fear if it's a "ghost" and not a "zombie." As a friend of mine once observed, "Dead's dead. They're not going to hurt you. The living and breathing -- that's who you should worry about." And ten points credit for whoever remembers what "C.H.U.D." stood for.
Isn't it something like Carnivorous Humanoid Underground Dwellers? We should be asking Parnell Hall, but he doesn't read the blog.
Cannabalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers.
Well, I was close.
