Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality

Check it out. But not when you're feeling queasy.

Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality: "Each item was purchased, taken home, and photographed immediately. Nothing
was tampered with, run over by a car, or anything of the sort. It is an accurate representation in every case. Shiny, neon-orange, liquefied pump-cheese, and all."

"This is an ongoing Pulitzer-caliber project. Check back for updates!"

High hopes, I think. On another note, there does seem to be a difference between plastic and real. The ad-ware may look better, but I'm sure the take-away probably beats it in the taste test.

I wouldn't count on that.

Reminds me of the time I was in a Sahri's--sort of a slightly better Denny's--and ordered something that came with tomato slices on the side. The photo of the dish showed three tomato slices, but when it arrived there were only two. I asked the waitress if I as entitled to another tomato slice since their photo promised one more than I got. She ended up bringing me three slices on a plate, and it didn't look like they'd been spat on. Moral: use those pictures to get your complete meal.

There's a place better than Denny's?

What did Michael Douglas say in "Falling Down?" Wasn't it, "I want a sandwich, that looks like the one in the picture?"

(Shudder)

*urp*

I just vomited a little in my mouth.

It didn't stop me eating a sausage biscuit with egg from Mickey D's yesterday.
