Well, as I said below, I can't resist a good list. Here's another one. What's really surprising (to me) is that I've read 9 of the 10 books on it. (The one I haven't read is #7.)

Which are the obvious three? I can think of a lot of different combinations. And there's no need to be impressed. Long ago, in another lifetime, I took a course in the Gothic novel. Some of the ones on the list were required, and I read the others for fun.
