Hey, I found it hard to believe that ACCORDING TO JIM was on for 8 episodes, let alone eight seasons. But he should have left NIGHT COURT out of it.

And Bull was a great character! He had one of my all-time top 10 funniest sitcom moments.

I second Jeff's comment. I didn't see all of the Night Court episodes but saw a pretty fair number. I remember seeing at least one good/great comic bit in every episode I saw.

Jim Belushi has to be one of the most inexplicable success stories in Hollywood. I mean, I know he was Bluto's brother an' all, but still....

Funny thing about Jim Belushi - the guy can actually act a bit. He's done a few pretty good dramatic turns, acted in at least one Mamet play, and appeared in a number of Steve Martin films. He appeared in "Pirates of Penzance" and replaced Judd Hirsch in "Conversations with my Father" on Broadway. His current series, "The Defenders", isn't horrible and he's actually halfway decent in it. Where things fall apart for him is when he does comedy. People expect him to be funny like his brother and HE ISN'T.
