Can't comment on that--it's been too long since I've look at that. But John Gardner's The Art of Fiction should be studied relentlessly by every writer.
My own favorite nutzenbolts book is SELF-EDITING FOR FICTION WRITERS.
Always wante to do a pun based on the R&B song, "She be white but She be Funky" incorporating Strunk & White but never got around to it.
