I'd heard six of them before. My favorite of the ones I hadn't heard was "Baseball Boogie," the dirtiest baseball song I've ever heard.

Six also was my number. Dylan must have a great group of researchers. I can't believe he left out Dave Frishberg's Van Lingle Mungo, my favourite baseball song. Frishberg's Dodger Blue is another good one.

I like both of those, but the one I was hoping for was Steve Goodman's great "A Dying Cub Fan's Last Request."
