'But some of these mysteries – better known as “whodunits” '...are they really, now...more people will recognize the term Whodunit than might the term mystery...even given that mystery has so many uses.
Copy-editing. If there's no one to do it for you, you must do it yourself. Certainly, I have been guilty.
The amazingly bad 1966 or so color version with an "International!!!" cast -grin- (Omar Sharif, Ursula Andress too, I think) was set in a Saudi Arabian or maybe Egyptian luxury penthouse.
Have you seen the newest British version? Mini-series sort of, two eps - great cast filled with usually wonderful Brit character actors, gorgeous scenery and house settings BUT:
I had to bail after the first hour, found it *terminally* boring...
heck, I think the director must have been asleep - the pacing was... well, a Lady doesn't say such things! -grin-
well, reviews are actually mixed about the new one, and I'm slowly coming 'round to maybe trying again... not *quite* brave enough just yet, tho (and lots of better stuff to read/view/listento). I accessed it on Acorn via Amazon Video, there were two versions listed then (about six months ago, I think). Not sure what's available streaming now though.
BTW, have you tried BritBox if you use Roku? great Brit stuff, yes some old stuff but much not, and doesn't seem to overlap Acorn content. For a rampant Anglophile like me it's wonderful.
an incredible percentage! I’ve genuinely forwarded this onto a colleague who changed into accomplishing a piece homework on this. And he in reality provided me breakfast due to the fact that i stumbled upon it for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank you for the meal!! However yeah, thanx for spending time to speak about this difficulty proper here in your blog. Wow, first rate weblog format! How prolonged have you ever been running a blog for? You made running a blog look smooth. The general appearance of your internet site is first-rate, in addition to the content material! Hey! I could have sworn i’ve visited this blog before but after browsing thru a number of the posts i realized it’s new to me. Though, i’m in truth glad i got here throughout it and that i’ll be ebook-marking it and checking once more frequently! Nicely i’m not writing all that another time. Anyways, just desired to mention fantastic blog!

1. CLUE sucks big time, no matter how much of a "cult classic" they claim it is. Virtually unwatchable.
2. Roger Ebert sure didn't agree about #2.
Don't know why Clue is on there. Perfect Getaway is a very underrated movie, glad to see it here.
I admit I haven't seen it in decades, but I thought the 1945 version of And Then There Were None took place in a penthouse, not on an island.
No, it was on an island. I did a post on it a few months back.

Have seen only the 1945 version and the '60s one.

No Roku. I do have Amazon.
A good selection. I would add MURDER IN THE PRIVATE CAR (MGM, 1934)
