NY Daily News: A.R. (Pete) Gurney, the prolific playwright whose career spanned five decades, died Tuesday at his home in New York City. He was 86.
Gurney’s best-known works include the Pulitzer Prize-nominated “Love Letters” and “The Dining Room,” as well as “The Cocktail Hour” and “Sylvia.”
